Now what?

A few things that mommy can't resist telling you about...

Evan says "loupe" for cantaloupe. AND, he says it everytime with a stuck out curled up tongue!! So cute and hilarious!

Evan says "loon" for balloon.

Evan says "mere" for "come here."

Evan says "I hold you" when he wants mommy to pick him up.

Evan shouts "luv u mommy" and "luv u Kayla" everynight while he's in his room with daddy and Kayla and mommy are in Kayla's room.

Evan loves chewing gum. The problem? He spits it out and throws it on the floor.... At least he doesn't swallow it...

Kayla loves to help fold laundry, cook, clean. She is mommy's little helper!

Kayla always asks mommy "what are we going to sleep and wake up and do?" to find out what is going on the next day.

Kayla loves to have daddy cut her cheese into shapes (square, triangle, stripes, etc).

Boots and Hissy

Boots (or Nimbis, if you ask daddy his name) is having so much fun with us!  He now sleeps with Kayla in her room, which they both love!

 

We still have Hissy (as Kayla has named her).  She is coming around (she used to hiss, spit and swat at you, now she just hisses).... :) Tonight she curled up on mommy even! In a few weeks, she is going to her new home at Dana's! We are going to miss her. She is the last of the two litters to adopt out. We had one other black kitten, but he did not make it. Mommy was going to take him to the vet because he seemed to be getting skinnier and skinnier. He passed away during the night right before his appointment. We miss him!

This afternoon we went to Erin to see Granddaddy (Meermaw was at an art event) and go to fireworks down the road from him.  We were soooooo excited and had soooo much fun!!

Today we spent the whole day at Meermaw and Granddaddy's! Daddy worked on their bathroom (tiling) while we all played.

 

Evan insists on taking the tractor toys out of the basket by getting into the basket....

Playdate with Emma

This afternoon we met Emma at Chick-Fil-A for ice cream and play time.

 

Mommy isn't 100% sure, but she thinks this may be Evan's first ice cream cone.  He wasn't real sure how to eat it.

Let the playtime begin!
