What's new

Earlier this year:

Evan says "bump" for a hammer.

Evan has a favorite plastic sword he has to carry everywhere (it came from Disney on Ice last year).

Kayla colors in the lines and can draw beautiful pictures. Definitely advanced for her age in coloring/drawing.

Evan reads Brown Bear, Brown Bear. He tells you what animal and color is on the next page. Very cute!

Evan is my snuggler. He tells mommy he loves her all the time, giving her big hugs and smooches!

This fall:

Evan wants to burt (burp) so bad! He says after every meal that he's going to, but he never does. He gets so excited when one of us burps.

Evan has a Duck Dynasty shirt that he wears and loves. He calls it his Coke shirt. It says "Quack Quack Jack," which he loves to say.

Kayla is learning her sight words. She is doing great at sounding out her letters. Yesterday she was writing a story and wrote "she gadders the leaves." Apparently we need to work on our pronunciation.

Evan says yeah with a lot of southern drawl and too many syllables. It's very cute!

Evan also says delicious as if it's two words. DEEEEEE licious!

Daddy and Evan like to sing "the King is gone and so are you" by George Jones. Evan will complete that line of the song when daddy gets to it.

Today Evan came downstairs completely dressed! In underwear! This makes two days in a row he has wanted to wear underwear!!!! (Yesterday he did well until he had a bad poop and couldn't make it to the potty.... It's a start! And mommy is pretty sure that's the first time she's had the pleasure of dealing with diarrhea in pants (with no diaper).... So Evan had an early bath yesterday!
